Swansea Hope

Swansea Hope is all about churches praying and working together for the good of the city. Through what we say and how we act we aim to be communities of welcome and healing throughout the city and county of Swansea, to be the hands and feet of Jesus where we live.

We actively encourage prayer for every person and particularly offer support to those who are city leaders. Throughout the year Swansea Hope organises events centred on prayer and action – church leaders’ lunches, prayer celebrations and community action projects.

We are regularly amazed at what becomes possible when we work together.

We are responsible for bringing the following projects to the city:

Lighthouses of prayer – meet monthly in various city homes

Project Hope – city wide social action projects

Swansea Night Shelter – offering emergency accommodation to rough sleepers during the coldest months

Remember Me - supporting those living with dementia

Street Pastors - Caring for the City's nighttime community
