Network Training Course

Network Training Course focuses on learning to understand the Bible, to apply it both to our own lives and to our contemporary culture, and for ministry in the local church.  Network meets at Highfields Church, Cathays and is held on Tuesday mornings between 9.00am and 12.30pm and runs for three semesters, each of ten weeks, starting on 26th September 2017.

There are nine study modules taught by qualified tutors with evangelical convictions and years of practical ministry experience. We also have a many guest speakers who contribute their speciality to the course.

Network is open to men and women from any denomination who wish to be better equipped for ministry in their local church.

Worship and Prayer for the City

This month our regular ‘Pray for the City’ takes the form of a half-night of prayer on Friday 29th Sept starting at 8.00pm @ Bethania, Old Hill, Old St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 5SU

We are so excited about the signs of blessing we are already experiencing in our City and Nation and are in great anticipation of more to come with the ongoing ‘Mission to Wales’, the ‘Higher Tour’ mission to High Schools and many more exciting initiatives.

With all this in mind, will you join us for an evening to worship the Lord together and to seek his face for a mighty outpouring of the Spirit on Cardiff and Wales.

As ever, there will be lots of good coffee and refreshments to keep us going and with the support of Rob Jones and his team, what more do we need for a great evening in the presence of the Lord!

Yours in great anticipation of blessing!

Here I Stand

‘Here I Stand’, an entertaining and provocative musical drama.

Featuring Vadé from Sky TV’s 'Sing: Ultimate A Cappella' with a cast performing a diverse and eclectic range of music, drawing on Gospel and Contemporary music. The story is inspired by Luther’s nailing of his 95 theses onto the church door at Wittenberg.

Brought to life by a 15-piece company of actors and musicians, the production challenges the audience around the theme of protest as it effectively blends the iconic story of Luther with a contemporary twist.

The show is an opportunity to be inspired by Luther’s stand and what it means for us today, while still being thoroughly entertained.

Theology and Practice of Public Leadership

This conference follows on from the Public Theology Summit held in Aberystwyth in October 2015. Now a further opportunity for Christians in mid and south Wales and beyond to explore the Theology and Practice of Public Engagement.

Welsh Christians and Churches have had a long and honourable history of influence in the public square, though often we don’t realise – and may even forget!  Coming up in October is an exciting opportunity to engage together across the nation, to consider how we can grasp the way God’s love for us and our love for others can have renewed impact in our own generation. The details are:
