Domiciliary Care Service Manager Required - Haven Homecare

Part time, 25 - 30 hours, £29 - 32,000 per annum prorated

This is an opportunity to join Haven Homecare, an established local Christian Care Charity, and lead the care team at a time of potential expansion and development. 

We are looking for an individual with

  • A strong commitment to working within the values and vision of the trust. 
  • A commitment to high quality personal care. 
  • Experience of working with older people including individuals with dementia in a domiciliary or community setting. 
  • Experience of managing staff and budgets. 
  • The necessary qualifications to be registered as Registered Manager with the relevant supervisory agencies. 
  • The capacity to engage effectively with an established service and team and the skills and vision to take these forward. 
  • We will provide

  • Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 prorated, dependent on experience and qualifications. 
  • Contract type: permanent, part time, 25-30 hours per week Monday to Friday negotiable.  There are no regular out of hours responsibilities. 
  • Mobile phone for work.
  • Generous annual leave allowance.
  • Pension contributions. 
  • Support for personal development and supervision.

Musicians Required for one off Christmas Event

  • Sunday 10th Decemeber and Thursday 7th December 

  • Mac Evangelical Church in Cardiff are in need of some help with their Nativity coming up in a few weeks which is one of only 2 services a lot of the youth club parents will come to in a year. For various reason the church does not have any of its own musicians avialable on that night

Volunteering with the Hospital Chaplaincy - Newport

The chaplains in the Newport hospitals are looking for volunteers to support and complement their ministry to patients and their families. We are looking for people who have some pastoral experience, good listening skills and a friendly character who can spare a few hours each week to help in the Royal Gwent and St Woolos hospitals, primarily visiting patients and supporting them pastorally and spiritually through listing and talking. Some people prefer their voluntary work to be practical and they help around the office, with the staff Chill Out support sessions or bringing patients to services and taking them back to the wards. Training will provide guidance and direction for all facets of the work. Care for the Family - Volunteers Needed

Care for the Family is currently recruiting volunteers to provide invaluable administrative support at our busy and friendly head office in Taffs Well, Cardiff.
We have over 600 volunteers working across the UK, supporting families in a variety of ways. Our head office volunteers are a vital part of the team, helping us to provide high quality events and stay in touch with our supporters.

Typical tasks might include putting together delegate packs for our events, inputting data and writing thank you cards to our supporters.
We are looking for volunteers who have good general computer skills, attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude.

So if you are retired, between jobs, looking to gain experience of the workplace, or just have a few hours spare in your schedule each week, please get in touch!
